NEARLY half the jobs lost in the UK in the last quarter were in Wales, it was announced yesterday - and there were warnings the total would rise again before it falls.
Overall UK employment rose 30,000 to 2.46 million between July and September, said the Office for National Statistics. But 14,000 of those jobs went in Wales, where the jobless total now stands at 125,000 - 8.7% of the workforce.See the full content of this document
