AVID CAMERON'S faith guru, Phillip Blond, more or less admitted recently that the Big Society will need a dose of Christian values if it's to succeed.

"Moral markets, and a return to civic association," said Mr Blond, director of ResPublica think tank and author of Red Tory: How Left and Right Have Broken Britain and How We Can Fix It, "require Christian values: mutuality, subsidiarity, reciprocity, solidarity, meditation, both in the theological and institutional sense."
