Four out of five young people with chronic fatigue say their education has been severely disrupted, or they have dropped out of the system entirely, a survey reveals today.

Many also reported a lack of sympathy from their doctor - 46% said they received a lack of support and 42% claimed their GP did not believe their illness existed.
