Gary speed has put to bed talk of an international return by saying he is not interested and that John Toshack must plough on without him Robbie Savage and any other member of the Wales old guard. The former Welsh skipper has reportedly been left 'somewhat embarrassed' by the uproar surrounding talk of a comeback for the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign.

The 37-year-old midfield stalwart returned from a break in Spain with his club side Bolton to be a pundit with Sky TV for Wales' win over Cyprus on Wednesday.
