More than three-quarters of consumers across Wales expect a rise in inflation over the next year, according to research from Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets. Of those surveyed in Wales, the bank's consumer barometer, 78% expect prices to rise over the next 12 months. Moreover, only 2% anticipate a fall in inflation - resulting in a net balance for a rise of 76%.
The balance for August was up on July's level of 71%. The Welsh position is in line with the UK average balance which also rose to 76% in August.See the full content of this document
