SIR - In reference to your editorial (August 29), do your readers feel that transparency is being adhered to when as of August 2006, 57 requests have needed to be filed by elected Caerphilly county councillors against their own council to obtain information, 43 Independents, six Labour and eight Plaid Cymru.
