A former corporal killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq had concerns about the security company he was working for, his wife said yesterday.

Kenneth Clarke, 39, from Gilwern, was escorting a convoy of lorries carrying ammunition north of Baghdad when the vehicle he was in hit a landmine, killing him and two others inside.
