A MAN who died after falling from a hospital window had been coaxed away from the ledge three times in the previous hour, an inquest heard yesterday.

John Manley, 86, known as Jack, was recovering from a stroke at the Cardiff Royal Infirmary when he fell to his death on October 11 last year. Two nurses and a visitor to the ward found him climbing near the window in separate incidents during the hour before his death, but there was no increased surveillance on him as a result.
