Precision Cast Components - one of the UK's leading aluminium foundries - is expanding as part of a pounds 450,000 investment programme. Since its launch in 1987, it has developed a reputation for expertise in producing aluminium castings and has worked on rail refurbishment, military radio equipment, architectural fixtures and medical devices.

The Newport-based company three years ago added phenolic mouldings production to its services, and the latest cash injection is intended to keep it at the forefront of the industry. PCC now employs 58 and has a turnover of pounds 3m.
