THE Assembly Government has been fiercely criticised after dozens of workers lost their jobs because of delays in approving a major project under Wales' top level European aid programme.

Organisations in a partnership chaired by former Welsh Secretary Ron Davies have had to lay off 56 people from a series of schemes aimed at bringing members of ethnic minority communities into the labour market.
