The strengthening retail sector in South Wales is having a major impact on shaping the region's economy and providing thousands of new jobs, according to international property consultants King Sturge.

Retail schemes in South Wales account for more than pounds 1.1bn of the estimated pounds 3.5bn of building currently under way throughout Wales. These are capable of providing at least 3,000 jobs.
