A south Wales television factory which employs almost 100 workers is to shut down, it was confirmed yesterday.

The future of Japanese-owned Orion Electric, which has been making TVs for 20 years in a plant off the M4 at Margam, Port Talbot, was put in doubt last year after a new plant was opened in Poland. Staff have now been told it is to close.
