The music of one of Germany's late, great exports will soon be heard in North Wales. Although Bert Kaempfert died in 1980, his musical legacy lives on thanks to the efforts of Tony Fisher, Kaempfert's original lead trumpeter, and his daughter Marion.

It was Marion and Tony who, in 1993, decided to re-form the orchestra which has since enjoyed considerable success all around the world. Comprising a 26-piece aggregation of trumpets, trombones and saxophones, plus a large string section and selection of singers, the orchestra plays Kaempfert's original arrangements.
