As we wave farewell to celebrating 50 years of Cardiff's capital city status and indeed its hundred year history as a city, there is a temptation to believe that we have somehow reached a comfort zone plateau in development terms.

That the city has witnessed a transformation from that of its cosy, quaint and somewhat 'back waterish' image prevalent as recent as the 1970s is incontrovertible.
