A leading surgeon killed his wife because he feared she was going to leave him for another man and then jumped to his death from a 160ft bridge with their two-year-old son, an inquest heard yesterday.

Dr Jaya Prakash Chiti, 41, found a series of emails which, he thought, proved his wife Anupama was having an affair with a colleague.
