Summary


EFFORTS to close the UK's productivity gap with its international competitors are being "fatally undermined" by a lack of skilled managers, according to a report.

Government spending on skills training will be "wasted" because workers are not being given the chance to realise their full potential, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development warned.
