Sir - If I were a betting man I'd wager a good few bob on there being no Labour government in Cardiff Bay by the end of the summer, nor, when it falls, will it be succeeded by any rainbow coalition. There will be a Labour-Plaid Cymru partnership, dress it up as you wish. This will be Rhodri's only means of hanging on.
