Summary
Sir - The amount of rubbish programmes currently on TV is not only soul-destroying but insulting to the average person's intelligence. We have foul language, extreme and bloody violence, crashing, exploding cars, individuals dodging streams of machine- gun bullets as if they were confetti and explicit sex scenes that add nothing to the plot (if there is one).
American films are the main culprits, albeit British films are catching up. Not everyone is entranced by Come Dancing and panel games, although much of the younger element (but not all) find it entertaining, and why not?See the full content of this document
