Talented Cardiff City teenager Chris Gunter admits he was flattered to see his name linked with a move to the Premiership. But the 18-year-old defender says his main aim now is to pin down a regular place for the Bluebirds. The full-back could take strides towards realising that ambition this evening as he looks set to start in Cardiff's Carling Cup clash with Brighton at Ninian Park (7.45pm).

During the summer Gunter (pictured left in action against QPR), who earned his first senior Welsh cap against New Zealand in May, was linked with a pounds 1m move to Everton, but is adamant his immediate future lies at Ninian Park.
