Dealers from across the UK are expected to flock to the biggest ever auction of Llanelly Pottery. More than 100 pieces of the rare surviving pieces are up for grabs to the highest bidder. The original Shufflebottom-painted items are expected to reach prices of up to pounds 1,000.

The china sale takes place at the Llanelli RFC Tetley Suite, Stradey Park, today. Auctioneer Tim Forrester said, 'This is the most exciting auction I have been involved with in 30 years in business in Llanelli.
