SIR - I am concerned the world media shows such little empathy with the politicians of America over their initial lack of understanding of the really shattering disaster which hit the south coast of America.
I had thought they above all people would realise that ambitious politicians roaming the world seeing how other people live, by people like themselves, showing them what they want to see, would be quite incapable of understanding the plight of people too poor to get out, thus the slow reaction.See the full content of this document
