Summary
Who would have thought that my 14-year-old daughter would get me into new metal and emo groups? Aged 39 I have found myself, at times, listening to Classic FM and even reading books - not very metal at all. But under the onslaught of my daughter's fantastic taste in music I have been introduced to groups such as Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold and the brilliant My Chemical Romance. I've added some of my knowledge to the mix and in turn, have slowly brainwashed her into liking Iron Maiden.
