THESE are the decoy puffins patrolling the cliffs of one Welsh isle in an ambitious bid to win back bird life.

The species disappeared from Pembrokeshire's Ramsey Island in the late 1800s after brown rats from shipwrecks ate their eggs and killed chicks. But now - as this extraordinary new picture shows - the RSPB has come up with an inventive way of tempting the burrow- nesting seabirds back.
