A ROYAL Marine was killed in Afghanistan after returning to the treacherous town of Sangin for a second tour, the Ministry of Defence said yesterday.

Marine Anthony Hotine, 21, of 40 Commando, died in an explosion while on a foot patrol with Afghan soldiers on Wednesday.
