Nuneaton Merthyr 1 3 MERTHYR TYDFIL boss Garry Shephard had no complaints about his team's defeat at high-flying Nuneaton, although he wasn't quite so satisfied about his team's preparations for the trip to Warwickshire.

By the time Nuneaton officials informed Merthyr that the game was in doubt due to frost the Welsh side were already over the border and that led to a 45 minute wait on the side of the motorway while a local referee was called upon.
