Word has it that Kevin Morgan missed out on Lions selection because Sir Clive Woodward felt he had too many rough edges to his game. Well those 'rough edges' weren't too apparent as the Wales full- back produced another polished performance to help the Dragons secure a home Celtic Cup quarter-final and keep the Blues on course for the Heineken Cup.

The omission of Morgan from the 44-man Lions squad was perhaps the most glaring oversight amid the slim pickings handed out to Wales' Grand Slam heroes by the errant knight.
