THE Dangerous Dogs Act could be tightened to cover private homes after a spate of vicious attacks, the Government will announce today.

Home Secretary Alan Johnson and Environment Minister Hilary Benn will say the 1991 Act - widely derided as being full of loopholes - needs to be reviewed.
