A scaffolder was yesterday jailed for life after murdering a teenage girl he targeted for sex - taking with him the 'dreadful secret' of how he disposed of her body. Nicholas Rose, 23, was convicted of murdering 16-year-old Charlotte Pinkney after driving her away from a house party in the early hours of February 28 last year.

But her body has never been found despite police searches and yesterday Detective Chief Inspector Tony Carney said he hoped Rose would 'do the right thing' and disclose its whereabouts.
