Summary
The families of nearly 100 service personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan are still waiting for inquests into the deaths of their loved ones, it was revealed yesterday. A total of 111 cases, which include civilians and military personnel killed in other conflicts and exercises, are outstanding with Oxfordshire coroner Nicholas Gardiner.
The Oxfordshire coroner handles the majority of military deaths because the bodies of many servicemen are flown back to RAF Brize Norton in the west of the county.See the full content of this document
