A police constable forced to wear an electronic tag following a conviction for assault has been dismissed. PC Paul Summers of Dyfed- Powys Police was ordered to wear the tag and sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, after he was found guilty of common assault.
The case at Swansea Magistrates' Court last month was shown CCTV footage of Summers punching 27-year-old Michael John Cann.See the full content of this document
