Summary
Two police officers were yesterday charged with wilful misconduct following the death of a man in custody. Hywel Llewelyn Hughes, 32, collapsed at Caernarfon police station shortly after his arrest following an incident outside a nightclub in Bangor last May. He was taken to Gwynedd Hospital in Bangor where he later died.
A spokeswoman for North Wales Police said, 'As a result of the subsequent investigation and advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, two officers from North Wales Police have today been charged with wilful misconduct in a public office.'See the full content of this document
