MINISTERS were accused of "putting the public at risk" yesterday after it was revealed 750 criminals are at large who should have been returned to prison.
Paedophiles, murderers and rapists are among the convicts who have committed new crimes or broken the terms of their early release but have not been found by the police, Ministry of Justice figures showed.
