THE poorest will be hit hardest by Chancellor George Osborne's spending cuts, the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) think tank warned last night.
In its analysis of Mr Osborne's spending review, the IFS said the changes would reinforce the "regressive" nature of the Government's plans to tackle the deficit, including the pounds 7bn of welfare cuts.See the full content of this document
