Jones' men were denied a famous fight-back victory as they were held to a 22-22 draw after conceding a last-gasp injury-time penalty, which super-sub Lionel Beauxis landed from half way. That means they have virtually no chance of winning their pool, with group leaders Stade looking certain to finish top as they have a home game against Italian minnows Calvisano to come.
