Swansea city's vice-chairman believes the fact no trains will be running to Cardiff on the day of their LDV Vans Trophy Final will not stop their fans turning out en-masse to support their team, writes Steve Tucker. The Swans face Carlisle United in the game at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday, April 2. They have sold more than 10,000 of their 40,000 ticket allocation and expect more than 30,000 of their fans to attend. But Network Rail has announced that due to essential track maintenance on the day, the mainline between Swansea and Bridgend will be closed in both directions and no services will run.

Despite the disruption, Swansea vice-chairman Leigh Dineen said the club's supporters would not be deterred from turing out in big numbers.
