AN ARTIST struggling to build her reputation has found herself dubbed "Britain's most forged living artist".

Little-known Mandy Wilkinson, below, made the discovery when she started getting e-mails from art lovers telling her how much they liked paintings by her that they had bought. At first she thought little of the missives. But on looking into the matter it became clear she was losing hundreds of thousands of pounds to Chinese forgers selling "original reproductions" from art factories alongside copies of masterpieces by the likes of Turner to Da Vinci.
