SIR - I would like to thank Lord Elis-Thomas for his response, albeit evasive, to my question (Letters, Dec 21).
While I naturally welcome anything which increases democratic representation for the people of the UK, it was not those constitutional issues I was interested in. Rather in his own personal position, as a potential leadership candidate for Plaid, on the specific issue of Welsh independence.See the full content of this document
