LABOUR'S iconic 1997 pledge card helped propel Tony Blair into Downing Street but opposition parties yesterday poured scorn on the suggestion the 2010 version would keep Gordon Brown at the famous address.

The criticism came after Welsh Labour unveiled five new pledges for the looming election and predicted the "decent mainstream majority in Wales" would reject the Conservatives.
