Police were last night digging up the garden of a jailed paedophile in an alleged hunt for the remains of two youngsters. Officers were called in to examine the grounds of an empty house in Croydon after an anonymous tip-off, a police spokesman confirmed. The Sun newspaper said pensioner Leslie Ford-Thrussell lived at the house before he was jailed for 12 years for assaulting children aged 13 and under.
The tip-off alleged that Ford-Thrussell had murdered two children and buried their bodies in the back garden of the semi-detached home, the newspaper said.See the full content of this document
