A scheme designed to bring world-class IT management within the reach of Welsh small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses has secured a crucial pounds 20m funding package. Wasp-IT, the largest private sector scheme in the nation to be backed by the European Union's Objective One programme, provides outsourcing support to almost 50 firms.
