Summary
Port talbot bowls ace John Price enjoyed quite a fortnight at the world indoor bowls championships at Hoton-Sea in Norfolk. The 44- year-old maestro was pipped by the narrowest of margins in the singles final, lined up with Carol Ashby to capture the mixed pairs title and then, in partnership with long-time friend Robert Weale, lost in the semi-finals of the pairs.
Having gone down to Paul Foster in a high-quality singles decider, Price and Ashby defeated 27-year-old Michelle Barlow and Welsh international Weale 3-10, 12-6, 2-1 in the mixed final which went to the last bowl of the final end of a tie break.See the full content of this document
