WALES World Cup fly-half Rhys Priestland returned to inspire the Scarlets to a famous Heineken Cup victory over Northampton at Franklin's Gardens, but wonder wing George North gave Wales coach Warren Gatland a huge injury scare two weeks ahead of the Australia match by limping off late with a leg injury.

The Scarlets followed up their opening victory against Castres with a wonderful bonus-point win at the ground of last season's unbeaten finalists to open up their chances of quarter-final qualification with a mouth-watering double header against Munster awaiting next month.
