LAST month I wrote about the benefits of mental health first aid training and its ability to increase people's understanding of mental health and how to respond to mental ill health.

The Welsh Assembly Government's suicide and self-harm action plan, published last year, included the intention to roll out this sort of training to frontline workers in public, private and third sector organisations.
