Summary

A FOUR-year-old boy who suffered a fractured skull when he was smashed over the head with a brick was being questioned by police yesterday after he was released from hospital. Charlie Davis was found in a pool of blood on wasteland near to his home in Hessle, Hull, on Thursday morning. But Humberside Police has stressed it has no evidence to suggest the youngster was taken against his will or tied up and have treated the incident as a 'nasty assault'.
