DESPITE the best efforts of the Druids, it was the severe weather warning issued on the eve of this year's festival that set the tone.

True to form, the site soon began to more closely resemble Passchendaele. But it would take more than two days of persistent rain to dampen the spirits of festival goers - when the magical sight of a rainbow appeared low in the sky behind the main stage on Friday, it elicited a roar of delight.
