WHAT a bunch of softies we Brits are. No wonder our distant cousins across the water started up a rant when the Scots allowed mercy to influence the last few months of life for a convicted mass murderer.
The United States might have been founded by a bunch of Christians, but they don't have any truck with all that stuff about loving your enemies. It's an eye for an eye - or even unlimited eyes, teeth, limbs, hearts and heads for an eye - that holds sway over there, with innocence recorded, if at all, as collateral damage.See the full content of this document
