PRIVATE sector activity in Wales hit its lowest level in 14 months in August after a fall in new business growth, figures have revealed.
According to the monthly Welsh Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) from Markit Economics, restricted business growth mirrored a slowdown recorded in July, while employment remained unchanged as spare capacity discouraged firms from recruiting.See the full content of this document
