Ethel carty was only seven when she was left at Paddington Station with nothing more than a bottle of lemonade, some sandwiches wrapped in greaseproof paper and a small cardboard suitcase. Her experience as a World War II evacuee in Wales is one of many that will feature in a special reunion on Tuesday at the Museum of Welsh Life in St Fagans, near Cardiff.
