It was a cloudy start to the annual Dolfynydd Horse Show held at Mostynbrook sanctuary, equine home of rest, near Newcastle Emlyn on Sunday. However, the clouds soon cleared and the sunny weather attracted more competitors than ever before.

The small, charity show started six years ago, and all proceeds go to the sanctuary, which is a welcome haven for nearly 20 donkeys.
