Great Train Robber Ronald Biggs has been arrested in Brazil, Scotland Yard said last night. But diplomatic sources in Brazil said the man held in Rio was not Biggs. The sources said the British consul in Rio, Mr Henry Neale, took a statement from the arrested man, who claimed to be a British subject. The hunt for Biggs switched to Brazil this week after Scotland Yard was told by a newspaper Biggs apparently wanted to give himself up.
